      <image:title>Welcome - Learn Spanish the natural way</image:title>
<image:caption>The purpose of learning a language is to understand and be understood, and that’s where we start. I follow a context-based approach to language teaching. My students and I talk about our lives, create stories together, role-play, and learn about the world by discussing articles and videos in the target language. By acquiring language naturally in this way, students are best able to learn and retain vocabulary and grammatical structures.</image:caption>

<image:caption>I am a former high school Spanish teacher with 15 years of experience teaching and tutoring Spanish. I have extensive experience working with students with learning differences such as ADHD, auditory processing disorder, dyslexia and other language based learning disorders. I turn my students into successful independent learners by teaching them study skills and strategies like creating memory devices and grammar checklists.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Welcome - A bit about me…</image:title>
<image:caption>Hi! I’m Ellen, a former classroom Spanish teacher and academic coach, now fully dedicated to private tutoring. I taught in classrooms for 8 years before taking time away from my career to raise and teach my own children. Once they were school-aged, I created Spanish That Sticks. I studied Spanish while living in Spain and Mexico, and I mastered Spanish fluency while teaching English in Ecuador. I earned my Master Degree in Education and am certified to teach Spanish in New Jersey. I've taught students of all ages and at all levels of Spanish proficiency in large classes, small groups, and one-on-one. I have extensive experience working with students with learning differences such as ADHD, auditory processing disorder, dyslexia and other language based learning disorders. I love teaching language one-on-one because I can create lessons specific to a student's learning style and interests.</image:caption>
